Quite dizzying to look at in real life. Was there with Mr Amoebobo the other day. There is Orchard, outside Ion.

Been living for more than a week without my room light. Basically just means all operations shifts out-room at night. To the living room, where I am now. Haha. Feels like A-Levels ended already, but actually there's 2 more... Started shopping for prom clothes but can't find anything yet! DIE.

Not been doing much lately. No exercise. Sometimes hang around at home, went out like twice.

Sleepy and bored, but waiting for iPod to charge finish...

One hour ago, the entire light fitting in my room decided to detach itself from the ceiling and crash down onto the table, wires connected and all, and shatter into a million glass shards. Basically er, I was sitting on my bed msning as usual, and suddenly there was a loud noise and the whole place went dark and then as the light hit the table and smashed obviously there was another loud sound.

And then the light tube glowed orange and flickered a little in front of me, since all the wires were still connected and the power still on. I know it's supposed to happen given the power is still intact but it was creepy. I don't know what to make of it.

Was just talking to a friend earlier about well, stuff I don't really wanna be thinking about. And then this happens.

I am miraculously unhurt, even when the entire room is covered in broken glass bits. Cleared up a little, but er obviously there isn't enough light to clear up thoroughly duh.

In the living room now. Will upload pics of ground zero tomorrow when I can go back and get my SD card adapter from the cam case...

There's a one day break before Maths Paper 2 on Friday, so I feel somewhat like I should post, especially since I haven't done so in quite awhile. Haha.

Manching asked me how the papers were, just now. I realised I really can't put a finger to anything. I really, really don't know. Computing was like zz and Maths Paper 1 was like ULTIMATE ZZ and then again GP was kinda zz also.

It excites me to imagine that in 2 days, maths, at least academically, will be ejected from my life. Into like, outer space or something. I cannot believe I made it through 12 years of annoying maths. I am the kid who, I somehow remember, in Sec 1 got every single algebra question on the year end paper wrong. As in seriously every single one. And finally I can hurl it out of my life.

Lol but during the maths paper, "Down" was playing in my head. "BABY ARE YOU DOWN DOWN DOWN DOWN DOWN (DOOOOOOOWN, DOOOOOOOOWN~~)". Not the best tune to supplement thinking, I must say.

Haha. To tell the truth I'm a little sad GP is over so soon. SHHHHH! A bit embarrassing to say, but it's true. A LITTLE sad lah.

Sigh. Time to look forward. But uh before that must look BACK.

K meanwhile. Haha nothing much happened since having a big fat lunch at Pu Tien. Well been studying, of course. Except...

Last weekend I tried to run, you know, to get rid of some of the buffet fats. When I woke up, the weather was nice. I went to run, and the sky turned dark and it started to rain. Plus I had a blister. So I came home and then after I bathe the weather was fantastic again.




See, ultimate chioness right. Haha. Well it's gone now thank goodness.

On wednesday we had GEEPEE. Well after lessons I went for lunch with Jasvin. Went for a buffet lunch at Clarke Quay, at Ivory Kitchen. It's CRASSY ok! Like when we finally found our way there, there was absolutely nobody in the restaurant but us and another 2 people. Totally quiet and elegantish. Haha. So we just got started on the buffet and eat lor. It's good. Lurbe the naan. But uh, it's totally not buffet food. You can't win at this buffet. So go only if you really like Indian food.

Unfortunately I did not take any photos so you can just imagine what good Indian food looks like.

Yeah so after lunch we went down to the national library to study, then up to Lido for the premiere of Love Happens.


Uh. Chick flick lor. Not worth sacrificing your last minute mugging time if you're planning to catch it. Haha.

Um yeah. Yesterday went to carry some tables and chairs for a barbeque I'm not attending. Well I could really use the karma right now so, it's okay. Haha.

Since last post... nothing much has happened. Well this week passed rather quickly, once again proving the theory that actually everyone knows, which is that time flies whether or not you're having fun.

On friday we had some "last-official-day-of-school-before-study-break-ceremony", after which Jasvin, Quanyi, Weiliang and I went to PuTien for a nice buffet lunch. Um yeah I got to school late so I didn't get to see Mr Gi one last time before embarking on study break. Now THAT'S devastating, for sure. I'm crushed.

The lollipop he gave was quite nice, though it took a tad too long to finish.

Speaking of tads, a certain THAD came back to school on Friday. Irresponsible monkey. Don't you know you could still spread your deadly little disease?!

Anyway, so my day (Friday) started out fantastic really, I mean I woke up refreshed after getting enough sleep. On the way to school the traffic lights literally seemed to worship me. Bus came almost immediately as I hit the bus stop. Light sun, cool breeze. Haha.

Got to school and hung around the canteen for a short while before going up to class, where thankfully the disease-laden one was not around. Talk cock sing song laugh laugh awhile then we went for GP lecture. GP package is quite entertaining, although admittedly I haven't really looked at it.

After that we had the ceremony thing, which was nice. As in really nice. I have to say I really appreciate all these little (ok actually they're quite big) gestures that the teachers at DHS do for us. For all the things that I've ever complained about at DHS (which is actually not much, seriously), the staffing here is fantastic. When I talk to my friends from other schools, I've never once gotten the feeling that the teachers at their schools are anywhere near as caring as ours. All these little things amout to, well, a lot. All the items put up by the teachers were nice, although I would've been way happier if the computing department had a standalone item. Haha. Mr Gi and Mr Pang can have a laser pointer fight! That would totally make my day please.

Hm. Maybe it's just me, but the fact that there're still lots of things we have to go back to school for, even just from now till As start, or the fact that we're all stressed and preoccupied with mugging right now, or just the simple reality that we all know we'll still see each other for a bit more, it didn't seem like a last-day-of-school to me. So I'm only gonna blog a little bit about that for now, I suppose the real gushing will come after 5th Dec.

I must say, though, that I'm really quite disappointed by these last 2 years. Would've been nice to have had a funner class. Always been rather envious when school activities come around and I can see other classes having lots of fun together. But I really think this one can't be helped, at the end of the day this one depends on the people in your class and if it's not meant to be... it isnt. Lot's of failed conquests, be it through my own mistakes or not. Xperience, House comm (but ok I'm quite happy this one didn't happen). Would've been nice to have had a more bonded CCA too. To be frank the entire club's quite a disappointment. Don't even have dedicated reasonably interested members besides Gladine and I. True, my year 5s now are quite a hopeful lot, but... still. I think it kinda counts as a failed project too. CS I might as well have only joined this year, but that said I'm quite thankful for all the times that we slogged together, however tiring.

Grateful for the friends that have stuck around. Jasvin, obviously lol. And others, don't fret if you feel like you need a mention and you're not. If you feel that you should be here then so you should. And strangely quite a few others that aren't even from Y6 '09, not people I see everyday and yet we're quite close. Manching... Darren... Cheehoe... Weicong...

K end of pensive last day of school thoughts. Totally not in the right mood. Haha. It just feels like a discussion rather than a tearjerker. Of which I'm rather sure it would be, after 5th December.

So anyway, on a lighter note, we went down to PuTien for buffet lunch! Sidenote here, we asked June's dad to fetch us to Tampines, and that weiliang had the cheek to hang around in class to take photos even after we called him to tell him to hurry down. IMO it's incredibly rude to make a driver wait for you.


Oh oh p/s: if you're not one of those photoshoppy people. I've recently realised that the fix functions in Windows Photo Gallery are actually rather fantastic.

Was doing computing for awhile but finally gave up so here I am for a quick post.

Got back prelims results already since last post. Not entirely thrilled with the results, but can't say I'm totally devastated either. Okay, maybe a little devastated.

I won't launch into a lengthy description of my grades 'cause let's face it, nobody wants to hear about that. I wonder what people DO wanna hear about at this blog though. Should create a poll.

Went to watch the Hossan Leong show on Tuesday with WeiCong. We had dinner at Aston's East Coast before going down to NLB for the show. Hrm. WeiCong sucks. He sat right in the corner 'cause we happened to get a booth right by the window and refused to be seen with me. Haha. Got to NLB kinda early so we walked around a bit looking for a place to talk, but since it's a library such a place is hard to come by. So by the time we really found someplace it was almost time to go in. Lol. But okay had a good nice chat anyway.

The show itself wasn't as fantastical as the previous ones I watched. Or maybe I'm just harder to humour now. Haha. Kinda short though, for 60 bucks. We sat in the first row, which kinda surprised me 'cause I didn't know we bought first row tickets.

Yeah and that was that.

On wednesday I think, went to get a new pair of running shoes. Haha. Went to Adidas since got 20% runner's promo there. Yes, there's a bigger discount at New Balance but I'd already been to NB and all the shoes were ugly. So I got a new flashy pair at Adidas instead. Was going to take nice photos of it myself but then I got lazy so here it is.

CCA phototaking on Thursday. There was a CCA leaders photo too and I was quite sad 'cause I wasn't informed about it but uh never mind long story short I got a photo in the end, with Gladine! Yay.

Posting a day after last night, in the end. Haha hey, photoshopping and uploading to flickr and facebook takes a lot of time okay!

Met up earlier at 12.15 at Macs PP with Zhiying, Daphne and Cheryl for lunch. Well, was supposed to anyway. But all of us were late and by the time everybody arrived it was 12.45 and WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY too hot to cycle. So we just went to Parkway for lunch and chitchat.


Yeah lunched at Pastamania and hung around for quite awhile before leaving. We were still too early and ended up reaching at 2.30 or so instead of 3. Of course in our squad's case that means we're at least an hour early. Haha. So we started playing by ourselves first and Dimples was kinda too full of air and he couldn't burp it out like me so we called Qingyi and told her to get a needle to deflate it a little. And right after that Xinyi turned up and provided one. Of course, we couldn't be bothered to Qingyi to stop searching.

So we went over to KLP for dinner and ended up at Pastamania again hahaha. The pizza's quite good hahaha. We shared it as a side dish.

And then afterward we went down to the stadium area because it was dark... to play with sparklers! And we really had a lot, 'cause I was carrying all the sparklers that we didn't use 'cause I was sick last time, and they still had some left over hahaha.

So we decided to spell stuff and the photos that ensue are extremely gorgeous!


Then we went back to KLP for a group shot where there was some light. The big thing behind was an anniversary cake thing for KLP, so we decided we'd use it for ourselves.


So basically, I had a great day with the bestest people in the world. It's just special how we can still be this... I dunno. Can't find a word to describe it. There's no other group of people that can ever replace this.

This morning I went to cut hair, then went down to ziren's place for mahjong!

Meant to go cut hair earlier one, but I woke up late-ish and yada yada so I got to the place like 11+ which isn't that bad.

Since it's a weekday morning, there was nobody there. Had a good chat with the hairdresser about girls LOL. She told me that girlfriend must find those can take hardship with you one, so that she'll stick by you even when you have no money. Haha. And that many of her friends go bad after going to JB to work and stuff after graduating 'cause there's too much nightlife there. And that many of her friends end up supporting guys there in JB. Maybe I should go there too...

Yeah anyway I met Tommy at White Sands to get some snacks before we went down to Ziren's house together. I didn't know Tommy reads my blog. Hi Tommy. Oh oh water rise's chicken bites are kinda expensive but quite nice. None of us had any idea who was going to be there until we actually got there. In the end the people who arrived were:

Haha. Pat didn't come 'cause she's sunburnt. Amazing huh. Yeah so we just played mahjong lor. No money lah. Well no money makes gambling no fun but okay I still had fun very itchy hands you know.

Watched part of La Bi Xiao Xin movie, dinner, then we just hung around the coffee table and talked. Friends sitting around and talking with no concerns about anything is the greatest feeling ever. I took some photos today:
